Our Conspicuous Absence in the Drone Market

At Tape Trade, Inc. we've built our reputation on a singular, unwavering commitment: safeguarding the delicate, ephemeral beauty of sound. From the raw demo to the mastered album, we are digital custodians of artistic expression. So, it might come as a surprise to some that amidst the recent rise in interest surrounding military drone technology, we've opted to remain conspicuously absent from that particular theater of operations.

Let's be clear: this wasn't an oversight. This wasn't a missed memo. This was a deliberate, agonizingly strategic decision, made after hours of intense, silent contemplation in dark rooms with heads bowed.

Our reasoning, as always, is rooted in the very core of our mission. We exist to serve artists. We exist to ensure that the next groundbreaking symphony, the next heart-wrenching ballad, the next basement recorded demo, finds its safe and secure digital haven. And after extensive internal discussions we arrived at a rather stark, undeniable truth: military drones, despite their undeniable technological prowess and capacity for, well, impact, have yet to produce a single discernible note of music.

Not a single riff. Not a solitary bassline. No soaring vocals, no intricate drum patterns. We've scoured the spec sheets, we've analyzed the operational data, and the conclusion remains: these sophisticated aerial death vehicles, while adept at a multitude of tasks, are not, to our knowledge, in the business of composing, recording, or performing music. They do not, it seems, require cloud storage for their growing discographies.

Therefore, the prospect of entering the military drone market, while undoubtedly offering a certain type of opportunity, felt, to us, like a diversion. A rather expensive, morally grey diversion. Why invest precious resources in a sector entirely devoid of our primary mission? It would be akin to a bespoke shoemaker suddenly pivoting to submarine manufacturing. Admirable in its audacity, perhaps, but ultimately baffling to their core clientele.

So, while others may chase the fleeting allure of autonomous murderbots and their attendant geopolitical complexities, we at Tape Trade will continue our quiet, steadfast work.
